Description – essential information
The Centre for Systems Solutions entered the Pioneers into Practice programme in 2013. Since then, we have had an opportunity to act as both – the sending and hosting organization. We provided placements for Pioneers from various European countries, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and Hungary.
Since 2014, the Centre for Systems Solutions has also been involved in the mentoring activities within the Pioneers into Practice programme. Michal Pajak took up the role of the Climate KIC Regional Coach. His responsibilities involve guidance and counselling in the Pioneers’ Regional Assignment. He also conducts workshops on the Transition Theory and its applications to help Pioneers introduce it into their work.
The Pioneer into Practice programme enables us also to reach a wide audience and engage them in many games developed by the Centre for Systems Solutions, including Lords of the Valley, Climate Game, and Amoeba. They are usually received were positively by the participants.
The project is implemented within the framework of the “Climate-KIC ”, funded by the European Commission. Climate-KIC (Climate Knowledge and Innovation Community) is Europe’s largest public-private innovation partnership focused on climate change, consisting of dynamic companies, the best academic institutions, and the public sector.
