Cookie Policy

Cookies Policy

This policy is directed at users of CRS’ websites under the following domains: games4sustainability.org, socialsimulations.org, crs.org.pl, systemssolutions.org, games4sustainability.com, hereinafter referred to as the Service.

The Service uses cookies.

The Service allows collecting user information through cookies and similar technologies, which typically involves installing cookies on the user’s device (computer, smartphone, etc.). The information collected is used to remember user choices (such as font selection, contrast, and policy acceptance), maintain user sessions (e.g., after logging in), remember passwords (with the user’s consent), gather details about the user’s device and visit to ensure security, as well as for visit analysis and content customization.

Information obtained through cookies and similar technologies is not linked to any other user’s data of the Service, nor is it used for user identification by the owner of the Service.

Users may configure their browser to block specific types of cookies and other technologies. For example, they can specify that only the cookies necessary for the proper display of the webpage are allowed. By default, most browsers permit the use of all cookies, but users can change these settings at any time and delete previously installed cookie files. Each browser allows for such actions through one of the available options in the settings or preferences.

Data related to the web traffic analysis and collected through cookies and similar technologies may be stored until the cookie file expires. Session cookies are stored until the web browser is closed or the user logs out from the site. Persistent cookies remain on the device for a specific, predetermined period. Some of these cookies automatically expire after a few years or when manually deleted by the user.

Certain cookies never expire, and therefore, the data retention period is equivalent to the time necessary for the Administrator to achieve the goals related to data collection, such as ensuring security and analyzing historical data related to web traffic.

The user may also use the website in what is known as “incognito mode,” which prevents the collection of data about their visit.
Using the Service without changing the browser settings is equivalent to accepting cookies and similar technologies by default and implies consent to their use for the purposes specified above.
