Location: Wrocław – Poland / Remote
The Role
You will be expected to help our team develop and apply our policy simulations in different sustainability areas. Your main responsibilities will include conducting current policy reviews, scanning emerging trends, coordinating projects, writing research grant applications, and writing texts for simulations, reports, and publications.
You will participate in international projects with partners representing science, NGOs, and policy-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analysing current policies for the purpose of policy simulation design
- Searching and processing information on various topics (environmental, economic, and social) related to sustainable development
- Coordinating projects, collaborating with project partners
- Writing grant proposals
- Writing articles for research journals and general audience
- Facilitating project events and simulation workshops
Key Requirements/Experience
- Excellent command of English in speech and writing
- Background in sustainable development policy analysis
- Understanding sustainable development discourses in the areas of climate change mitigation and adaptation, energy transition, disaster risk management, etc.
- At least a basic understanding and experience in applying systems thinking in practice
- Conscientiousness, independence, responsibility – these are not just fancy words – we expect you to act on these traits
Nice to have
- Experience in group facilitation and participatory, action-oriented stakeholder engagement tools
- Social science research methods skills
- Experience in working for the benefit of society and the natural environment
- Knowledge of another foreign language, e.g. German, French, or Spanish
