As Science-Policy Expert and Facilitator I am involved in simulation development, as well as workshop design and delivery.
For the Centre for Systems Solutions, I act as a sounding board on all matters related to science-policy, and policy in general. That includes quality assurance around the political and decisional aspects of our simulations (e.g. fictional policies, international negotiations). In general, I see my mission as ensuring that we are constantly bridging research and practice – not only through integrating science-policy research into our participatory tools and simulations, but also by identifying how what we learn from practice can contribute to that knowledge base. That applies to both how we design our simulations and how we run them. In my spare time, I like a challenging board game, cooking and culinary expeditions, and the occasional hiking excursion.
