The training event invited the participants from the European External Action Service (EU’s diplomatic service) to take part in The World’s Future social simulation. The training was developed and facilitated by experts from the Centre for Systems Solutions and International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, Piotr Magnuszewski and Gerid Hager.

Participants were actively involved in the simulation, facing the challenges connected with sustainability dynamics and related cross-boundary issues, e.g. food and energy security. They also explored strategies to foster resilience across nations as well as face the challenge of pursuing strategic autonomy.
