We had a pleasure to host Olga Mironenko, a marine sustainability researcher and a co-founder of the Russian marine plastics recycling project Holy Jelly and the initiative Taiga that was awarded as by Moscow government as the best environmental start-up of 2016. With her past research projects, Olga brings expertise in marine pollution into her business of reversing pollution in the seas.

On the 8th of May, she led a short presentation for the Centre for Systems Solutions’ team about the marine anthropogenic pollution and unsustainable fishing practices. Her valuable insights and observations let us understand how great impact humans have on their natural environment.
