MIP4Adapt

The Mission Implementation Platform (MIP4Adapt) supports European regional and local authorities in preparing and planning for climate resilience pathways. For Charter Signatories, MIP4Adapt facilitates information sharing within the community of practice and assists to enable regions and local authorities:

  • use their existing climate change vulnerability and risk assessments to develop or update climate change adaptation plans,
  • implement climate change adaptation solutions and monitor the progress of adaptation plans,
  • identify appropriate climate change adaptation demonstration projects and identify and access financial support for their implementation,
  • stimulate the involvement and mobilization of citizens and stakeholders in participatory approaches to climate change adaptation, involving them in decision-making processes.

The Center for Systems Solutions is actively supporting the implementation of the EU Mission Implementation Platform Climate Change Adaptation (MIP4Adapt) as a Member State Moderator.

MIP4Adapt is funded by the EU Horizon Europe Programme.
