NetZeroCities

NetZeroCities plays a key role in the EU’s Mission of “100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030”. It is a driving force behind cities’ efforts to develop carbon-neutral strategies, improve their capacity for systemic change through innovation, provide a platform for key services and expertise, and accelerate the transition to carbon neutrality. In addition, NetZeroCities aims to support cities in overcoming structural, institutional and cultural barriers to the adoption of low-carbon lifestyles.

The Centre for Systems Solutions is one of 34 valued partners participating in the NetZeroCities initiative. CRS is committed to supporting cities on their transformation journey. Our primary focus is to conduct online and in-person policy simulations where participants are immersed in developing future policies that mitigate risk, build resilience, and achieve essential climate-neutral goals in their cities. Participants take on different roles and integrate different values and perspectives as they negotiate relevant urban issues.
