FeliX model
The Nature Research, one of the most influential platform for dissemination of high-quality research results and important advances applicable to all areas of natural sciences, has just published the hot off the press article co-written by the CRS’ member, Felicjan Rydzak.
Reflecting on the Paris Agreement COP21 to pursue efforts to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5 degrees C above pre-industrial levels, the study applies a systems dynamic model FeliX to explore alternative scenarios for balancing CO2 emissions and sinks through 2100. Compared to other climate and integrated assessment models, the FeliX model provides a unique systemic view of the whole carbon cycle, which is vital to our understanding of future climate change and energy.
