The Centre for Systems Solution opened this year’s European Forum Alpbach Political Symposium with an advanced prototype of our new social simulation, The World’s Future! Created and presented together with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, this social simulation became an opening act for the whole symposium. And it was quite a fit as The World’s Future enables players to shape the future of in-game micro-world and to improve the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants. With the big picture obtained thanks to The World’s Future game, participants could easily jump into topics presented in Alpbach during next few days.

The Alpbach Political Symposium is dedicated to the today’s world key challenges and to presenting innovative ideas for politics and policy-making in the 21st century. Every year, more than 20 partner organizations from Austria, Europe, and the USA contribute their expertise and knowledge to the event.
