On the 18th of February, in reponse to an invitation from SAGANET, a Dutch serious games association, we presented at a webinar about serious games for sustainability.
SAGANET regularly organizes serious games-related webinars for the members of the association. Because of our involvement in propagating sustainability games and simulations, we were asked to present our thoughts on the topic. Piotr Magnuszewski introduced our organization and philosophy of developing our social simulations, whereas Michalina Kułakowska shone some light on Games4Sustainability and the biggest sustainability challenges for Poland.
After the presentations, some of the participants of the webinar could play the New Shores simulation and test how our ideas and values work in practice.
Other games introduced during the webinar included We Energy, and The President’s Speech.
