The World’s Future is a social simulation in which players adopt high-level leadership roles within a world much like ours.

This simulation incorporates the Sustainable Development Goals and empowers players to experience how interconnected they are.

Players make choices about energy and industrial investments, social development, environmental management, and other matters. These choices will affect the players’ in-game country – as well as  surrounding countries – in the long term. As a result, players will be able to see the consequences of their decisions.

Designed with input from scientists and policy makers, The World’s Future Online immerses players into a world like ours, where they can begin to make sense of the complexity of climate change, inequality and resource allocation.
