A diverse group of educators, students, and serious games enthusiasts gathered at our office for an immersive training session on the Up to You! social simulation. This unique event led by the project leader, Aleksandra Solińska-Nowak, was designed to engage participants in lessons about sustainable development by allowing attendees to explore the complexities of social and environmental challenges on the path to sustainability.

Throughout the session, participants not only experienced the engaging gameplay of Up to You! but also received valuable moderator materials to help them prepare and conduct workshop sessions independently. The training emphasized the practical application of the simulation, equipping teachers with the tools that could be incorporated into their lessons effectively.

The session is part of the project “Making Europe’s Future Sustainable! A Simulation-based Learning Program for Schools” which aims to develop a comprehensive interdisciplinary education program for high school students and teachers. The project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program.
