Education to Citizenship – upcoming trainings
The Education to Citizenship project was created with the arising need to develop and consolidate civic education tools for adults. The purpose of the events organized together with the Common Thing Foundation, the Stanislaw Brzozowski Association (Krytyka Polityczna) and the Norwegian organization Phronesis SA will be to disseminate the fruits of the project: a program of courses, an educational game and a manual.
As first part of the project, we will organize two training courses (in Polish) – in Katowice (10-12.03) and in Warsaw (31.03 – 02.04). The workshop is designed for people who work (or want to work) for local communities and non-governmental organizations. The training is free of charge, we also reimburse travel costs up to PLN 820, and provide food and accommodation.
Participants will learn what the community organizing method is, how to build groups/communities, and how to create effective civic campaigns. Registration through the form.
Education to Citizenship benefits from a grant of €171,017.00 from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Funds.
